In July we cashed in on some free food at Chick fil a by finding some paper cow spots outside of the restaurant and taping them to our shirts. (Chick fil a hosts a free food event every year for anyone who dresses like their mascot, a cow.) We also went to an Oakland A’s game. One day Lila and I met Julie Herbert, a girl we knew from Camelview Ward when we lived in Arcadia, at a bakery in Long Beach. Because of traffic, it took us forever to get there and we were so late (like hours). Luckily Julie was understanding, and it was fun to catch up with her.
