July was a fun month because we had so many visitors! I remember thinking that moving to California was the best thing we’d ever done because it was a vacation destination — meaning we’d always get to see family and friends! In addition to the Barneys, Charis and her kids came to Oceanside for a girls trip on her side of the family and invited me to join them at the beach one day. It was a bit of a drive, but so worth it to go hang out with her and her mom and sister Heidi. Also, Dawn and C came out sometime in June and we took them to a few beaches. The one pictured is Thousand Steps in Laguna Beach, and the sunset was fabulous that evening!
