Day 1

Arrived in Brussels to find police roadblocking major streets and helicopters swarming around city square
Asked hotel staff what’s the ruckus, only to hear in reply “It’s just a riot. Don’t worry, not dangerous.”
Thought to ourselves all of the synonyms he could’ve used that sound less threatening than riot
Wandered through Grand Place Square and marveled at the majesty of golden-plated buildings
Awarded Manneken Pis the lamest, most hyped up tourist attraction
