August 1: Bristol, England

Sites and Lodging: In Bristol we needed something cheap and close to the airport for our early morning flight to Ireland. We stayed at Ibis Bristol Temple Meads for 62 Pounds (about $80), and I remember thinking “why couldn’t we stay here for three nights instead of that smelly hostel in Bath!” It was a nice, big, clean hotel room with all the usual amenities — fresh towels, included toiletries, flat screen TV etc. We didn’t do much in Bristol other than walk to a kabob shop down the way and then relax in bed before our next adventure.
