Day 1
Arrived in Barcelona

Went to bed!
Day 2
Spent the morning perusing La Rambla, Barcelona’s most famous walking street
Sampled empanadas, fresh fruits and other treats at the La Boqueria St Josep Mercat
Wandered through Gothic Quarter and visited The Cathedral. Bustling with people, yet it was still a reverent, peaceful place. A small elevator in the back took us to the roof for great unexpected views
Took a quick siesta before spending the afternoon a Montjuic Castle
Day 3
Attended Church
Went for a Sunday stroll through Parc Ciutadella
Visited Park Guell, bought tickets for following day
Walked by La Pederera, disappointed that it’s under construction
Stumbled upon the Harley Davidson festival at Placa de Espayna, ate some delicious foods
Watched (and napped during) the water show at Montjuic
Day 4
Marveled at the majesty of La Sagrada Familia
Ate delicious pizza at a streetside cafe
Took an audio tour through Casa Batllo
Appreciated Park Guell for a second time, this time with access to the monuments
Day 5
Slept in late
Planned next couple of destinations
Wandered La Rambla one last time; bought touristy items and snacks
